I know this will probably get me a lot of hate, but I am against designer knock-off bags. Now, hold on to your pleather Prado bags for just a second and hear me out! Why is it we are so harsh on academic and intellectual plagerism but we pay no regard to the artistic plagerism that is hocked on the likes of Canal Street?

Many women (myself included) have a weakness for purses and love the look of designer bags; unfortunately, the accompanying price tags make us quickly flip the magazine page. Instead, what we should be doing is study the look of the designer bags we love so much and see how we can apply that aesthetic to a more affordable option.
